Initially developed for the National Historical Museum, the exhibition was redesigned for the space of the Clock Pavilion at Fiocruz. Designed by Portuguese architect Luiz Moraes Júnior, the Clock Pavilion was inspired by English railway constructions and housed laboratories where serum and vaccine against bubonic plague were produced in the beginning of the 20th century.
